The GBA type xipuli piston rod seal is a further development of the lip seal, combining the advantages of high elasticity of the O-ring and wear resistance of the lip seal material. This special seal is primarily used in mobile equipment due to its unique assembly of the O-ring, which ensures a pre-compression amount of the sealing gap under low pressure and vacuum conditions. The sealing force is essentially independent of temperature changes. Furthermore, even if some degree of wear occurs, it will still ensure the necessary compression amount. The lip is loaded due to an increase in system pressure, which is transmitted to the lip through the deformed O-ring under pressure.

Installation: These seals should have axial clearance. To avoid damage to the sealing lip, do not pull the seal along sharp edges during installation.
